Palindrome Spaces is a Mumbai-based, multi-disciplinary architecture and interior design studio that thrives on turning personal stories into tangible spaces. Founded in 2017 by principal architect Nayan Shah, the studio was born from a passion for design that goes beyond aesthetics and utility. The name “Palindrome”, meaning a word that reads the same backward and forward, symbolizes our love for symmetry and balance – we see spaces and people as naturally coexisting in harmony, each enhancing the other. This philosophy of equilibrium drives us to design environments where architecture is in sync with its inhabitants, flourishing in a constant state of balance between form and feeling.

Nayan Shah’s design philosophy infuses every project with imagination, contextual sensitivity, and uncompromising craftsmanship. An avid believer in self-discovery and learning, Nayan brings over 14 years of experience in luxury architecture to the table, pairing a vivid imagination with methodical quality-check systems to ensure excellence in execution. Under his leadership, Palindrome Spaces has evolved from a labor-of-love startup to an award-winning studio trusted by discerning clients who seek design solutions that go beyond the ordinary.

From our early days operating out of a modest setup to now designing over 200,000 sq.ft. of luxury offices and 100,000+ sq.ft. of high-end residences, our journey has been guided by passion, perseverance, and the trust of clients who dared to dream with us.
