During a recent work trip to China, I had the incredible opportunity to capture a plethora of moments & visuals that resonated with me at an intrinsically creative & artistic level. Anything we view has the ability to invoke fleet of feeling inside us & leaves its identity in our minds.
The coalition of textures & materials create a tangible look & feel in objects & spaces we use & inhabit. They tell a story of their own & build a sense of identity for themselves. They tend to inculcate an added dimension to the space that helps create a specific ambience & breathes emotion into the space.
The environment one designs can be layered with the involvement of a textural & hue interplay. Be it an intimate residence, a suave corporate setup or a high-end commercial arena, every attribute of the constituent elements helps reiterate the grammar of the niches. The visualization & perception of textures & materials tends to instill an instant emotion in a perceiver’s mind & transports one to a prior fragment of memory or feeling associated with the visual.
The inclusion of nuances of textures in the domain of spaces & visual compositions, allow one to add a multi-stranded reality to the framework of the visual. Every time we conceive an image, surface or space, the juxtaposition of materials & color adds a depth-like quality to the same.
